Undergraduate / 'my career path of forensic psychology' - SEATTLE U PERSONAL STATEMENT [3]
Is it supposed to be a long essay or a sort of short answer? Considering I'm doing the common app for them, i've already written them an essay, so i assumed their personal statement could be short and concise.
also any tips and changes please!!
Seattle University is an absolute match with my educational goals due to its dedication to "empowering leaders for a just and humane world," cultural diversity, and the vast opportunities it allows for. I believe in Seattle University's mission of creating leaders who are committed to the common good, and hope to become a leader in my career path of forensic psychology to make a positive impact on the world. As a first step to this impact, I am eager to participate in the volunteer work that its students contribute to the community. With fifty states and over seventy nations embodied throughout its students, Seattle University offers connections that span over international borders; allowing me to create relationships with others who also seek to serve the common good, and possibly find opportunities for my future. Not only does Seattle University educate me academically, but also I believe that through its students, I will learn about the world we live in and the cultures that span it. In addition, Seattle University's rank among the top universities by U.S. News & World Report opens an array of opportunities for all of its students-- aiding us in our pursuit of higher education as we continue from Seattle University, to graduate school, and to the world.
