Essays / Need Help with Essay Topic for the Gateway Pipleline in BC... [2]

Help! I wonder if anyone can suggest a topic for an essay on the proposed Gateway Pipeline in BC? I have done a rough outline for the paper but am not quite sure about how to develop a thesis statement around the topic...

My outline is as follows:

1. What the project is and where it will run through BC

2.Pro's of the project
-why the Canadian goverment wants it
-economic benfits

3.Con's of the project
Who is opposed to the project
-enviromentalists-Emcor's history of accidents
-aboriginals-how it might affect their ability to make a living

I guess what I am looking for are any suggestions on how to develop this essay around the topic.
