Undergraduate / 'I will be the first generation' - family history,culture,or environment [3]

My family history is based on education. I didn't grow up where college or even education was a big issue. I mean the furthest majority of my family members would reach is the tenth grade or even the 12th grade and stop. So having to grow up around this only encouraged me to want to over look every obstacle that comes my way and further my education. In my sayings I had to break the generation curse that my family started to become very comfortable with not only that but thinking giving up easily was okay. No my family doesn't classified under the section in the news paper as a celebrity or received many gold medals in the Olympics but thanks to them I have the strength to do anything I put my mind to it was because of my family not finishing school is what makes me who I 'am today. Someone who sets goals and accomplish them, someone who faces problems bigger than a giant and still reply with smile and to others will seems as I'm better than okay. Although some people may look at it is as why are you so proud about this. In my respond nothing more than it's my family who not only pave the way for me to be stronger but now I can say I will be the first generation to ever finished the four years of high school and to go to college. This is my family history and this how they influenced me.
