Task 4. Turn the sentences into reported speech.
1. Walter said," I will cook this pike myself. "
2. Hanna thought, "I will be cooking at this time tomorrow afternoon."
3. "How about some coffee?" she asked.
4. He sighed, "Are we having dinner or not?"
5. "Are you still hungry?" I asked faintly.
6. She said, "Take it back and put lumps of butter on the mashed potatoes."
7. Pauline said sternly, "Be certain that no gravy touches the rice or vegetables you eat."
8. "Come and have breakfast, mate," he said.
9. "Have a piece of cherry pie. It's delicious," said Mrs Piper. - "No, thanks," I replied.
10. "We insist on your taking these sandwiches," Granny and Uncle said.
11. "We had better eat something and keep up our strength," I said.
12. "It is not what I ordered. And these aren't tuna sandwiches," Todd added.
13. "What on earth do you expect me to say to that?" I laughed.
14. "Mum, please! Let me have some more cake. Please!" said Lizzy.
