(SOP) to Application for the Masters in Aerospace [6]
Hi guys
i need some help to improve my SOP coz i plane to get Master in Aerospace Engineering and i will be appreciated for an EDIT of comments in my SOP
waiting all of you guys
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Ref: Application for the Masters in Aerospace
Quilliam has said 'There is a fine line between dreams and reality; it's up to you to draw it'. I believe that if one has the desire to succeed, all dreams can be achieved and with this belief at the back of my mind, I aspire to continue all my life in researching and finishing my Master and PhD .
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have the pleasure to write this letter to express my intent to join the Master in Aerospace Engineering.
Academic Background
Since 2001, I had studied aeronautical engineering with enthusiasm at The Institute Of Aviation Engineering & Technology.. My special interests are in the field of aerodynamics and I am also highly interested in aerospace engines and gas turbines.
Aerospace structures is a multi-disciplinary field whose objective is to produce structures that meet all the requirements of a flying vehicle (or, in other words, actually build the airplane, rocket, etc.), Airframe design is a field of aerospace engineering that combines aerodynamics, materials technology and manufacturing methods to achieve balances of performance, reliability and cost. Therefore the components for these have to be precisely manufactured and have to satisfy demanding requirements.
From the beginning of my studies I was fascinated by these Structural engineers that have very important responsibilities in aircraft/spacecraft design and operation. Their main responsibility is to ensure the structural integrity of the flight vehicle while keeping the weight as low as possible. In order to produce a safe structure that is Optimal. These areas of concentration still prove to be highly fascinating and satisfying.
THE Collage Project - Special Experience
At my graduation year, I was involved in six- students collage project to develop the extended AIRBUS A321 series to be converting From passenger to cargo Aircraft using MSC.PATRAN 2005 software , our group was subdivided into smaller groups which involved a lot of multitasking abilities like co-ordination, planning, management and implementation of the project from its inception to its final execution , the best skills I gained is to gather information needed under lack of resources, do a lot of experimental work , contact other professionals to be able to finish this task accurately and on time. And I also was well trained on leadership and inspirit of teamwork.
This project helped me to relate my theoretical work to a practical scenario. It provided me with a deeper understanding of the subject and a sound technical base which also aroused a greater liking for the subject.
My Goals
I plan to work towards a master Program with a focus on Airframe Design, I would also like to follow up my interests in Aircraft/Spacecraft design through my course work. I feel that this should be my next step on my road to a research career in Aerospace science, and My future plans after finishing this program is to gain a PhD in Aerospace engineering.
