Writing Feedback / IELTS-the proportion of older people is increasing,, positive or negative on society? [4]
Nowadays, it is obviously seen that the percentage of ederly increased rapidly because of the accent put on healthcare. But this situation can have both negative and positive effect on society. In our opinion, too much ederly is a hindrance for a society because this of people need more attention and much money to take care of.
first of all, on the educational plan, they need to be educated as well as children. thus, their education can cost more than the student one. this situation is a additional buerden for the government which has for priority to take car ofe children education.
secondly, in the companies, older people are less strengh than younger one. Bisides, companies can loose more than forseen by hiring them because there will be a lack of strengh work force which can lead to the lack of effcetivness in the work place.
lastly, older people can be a burden for family. thus, many families prefer to keep their older members in the orgnisation which role is to protect them. this situation most a time increase the family expenditures. bisides, even at home, they need more care and children are less look after.
on the other hands it is not completly true to say that elderly is only a hindrance on society. because this group of people have their role.
firstly, they are better situated to enquiry the younger generation about the past. for example they create family fun telling ancient stories aonut every aspect of the life. furthermore there is a commion belief which state that elderly are the mirror of the society.
secondly, on the economic plan, we can not deny that they are the only one who take care of farms in the countrysides. thus, they represent abig work force for the agricultural sector in many countries.
to sum up our views we can say the increase of aging people is still a debatable issue. but by seing the negative and positive effects developed above we can remain to the point that elderly is a hindrance for society. after that one question remain in our mind. what should we do to them?
