Undergraduate / Stanford Supplement-Letter to my Roomate (2000 char) [4]
Dear Roomie,
I can't wait to start getting to know you and spending time together EVERY DAY! So just a little about myself: I like to listen to music, a lot. I am singing from sunrise to sunset. I focus better when there is not dead silence; luckily, I enjoy a wide variety of music from country to pop to hip-hop to rock. My favorite artist is Lady Gaga, but I don't dress like her so you don't have to worry about that! The only exception to that would have to be when it comes to spirit. I LOVE school spirit, I adore dressing up in my school colors and being able to feel unified with a student body I might not even know that well. FEAR THE TREE!
If I am in the dorm, you will find me in front of a computer or reading a book; the remainder of my time I enjoy to spend out with friends (football games are my favorite past time). I am also a people-watching professional. I can sit on a bench for hours with a friend just making up stories about people we see as we try to guess their lifestyles. Disclaimer: I am very opinionated on some things and speak my mind with little filter.
I love meeting new people. In fact, don't be surprised with how outgoing and eccentric I can be. We could be out at lunch one minute having a conversation about horses and the next minute be riding one- I have never ridden a horse before so it would be a roomie first! I love to try new things, college is one of these, and I hope I get to experience many of them with you. Like last year, I did a ride along on an ambulance and had the time of my life getting up at 1, 3, and 5 AM to help someone in need of medical assistance.
I am very health conscious and try to get in some sort of exercise every day. Tennis is my passion but I also enjoy skiing, wakeboarding, professional sledding, Ping-Pong, and surfing; hopefully you like one of those as well so we can BOND!
