Undergraduate / My Father - A person who have important influence on my life. [3]

My Father

Everybody has someone special, and for me it's my father. He is 52. He is an Engineer but I think he also is a psychologist, an athlete and a great breadwinner. He plays a really important role in my life. He is the sample that I want to become in my future.

My father owns an advertising company. He's pretty busy in his work, but he always knows how to balance time for works and time for family. He is my teacher at home, he good at math and physics, he usually spends time helping me finish my homework. Another reason makes him become the most beloved man in family is he remembers all the special days of the family such as my birthday, my mother's birthday and their wedding aniversary. Advertising is tough work, but he can always find time to get together with family.

My father loves sports and he wants to pass on his passion to me. I have to say that he succeeded. He plays soccer and badminton pretty well. When I were a child, I followed him to soccer matches he played with his colleagues. He played as a striker. Strong, agile and skilled, he was a nightmare to opposite teams. He trained me a lot. I have to say that I have no talent in playing sports. It's not easy like when you are a spectator and watch others play. I practiced a lot to make impress on my coach - my dad. I hope someday I'll become a worthy opponent for my father.

For me, my father is a psychologist because he understands my feelings. I've asked him for money to buy a new expensive mobile phone just because each of my friends got one. I think he knew that reason. He gave me money and said " Friends would not admire a guy just because he uses a much more expensive phone than their." It made me think a lot and then I decided to give the money back. My father smiled and said nothing. He never tells me why I should or shouldn'tm he wants me to find the reasons out by myself, and he teaches me a lot with this way.

Funny and social are my dad's characteristic at home. At work, he's a completely different man, he totally focus on his work, a responsible man.

Now I'm studying at a university. I'm not a kid anymore, but whenever I stand beside my father, he makes me feel that I've never grown up. There're still have so many things I have to learn from him, the man I admire the most, my father.
