Essays / Introduction for article about employment market situation [2]
Hi all!
For my studies I have to write an article about the employment market situation in Germany. This is my introduction, which I need ready by the end of December. As English is not my first language it would be great if someone could correct it!
Working, where others enjoy their holidays. A job, where you get to know new people, countries and cultures and travel the world? Most young people wish to work in such an occupation. Jobs in the tourism industry belong to the dream jobs of many people. There is a reason for that; the tourism industry offers diverse and exciting job opportunities. Nevertheless there is also a downside, employees in the tourism industry literally work while other enjoy their holiday or leisure time: At evenings, at the weekends and especially on vacations - and all that for a significantly lower salary than in other branches.
Furthermore there is a high instability with a high employee turnover, a short length of employment and a potentially high risk of unemployment.
This text is about the current employment market situation in the tourism industry in Germany, as well as with training and further education opportunities for young professionals and career changer.
Thank you!
