As he recklessly rushed towards the unknown direction, displaying massive anxiety, there were no words that could explain my sincere fascination. His thoughts were clearly visible as I could read them. I knew what his feelings were because I could see them. This man's goal was mysterious to me. In order to discover the generator of my tremendous curiosity I had no other choice but to flip the page and find out.
That was my first encounter with a comic book. Eventually, I grew fond of graphic novels. To me those are not just pretty pictures filled with witty text. A comic book is an elegant and unique work of art, which encompasses both literary value and illustrative splendor. Such unorthodox hybrid had an immense impact on my understanding of creativity and expression. Graphic novels inspired me to master the art of painting, poetry and writing. It gave me courage to start my own comic book, direct a play, and compose poems. At the same time, I realized that I have not reached my limit yet. Thus, I opened my mind to every subject that surrounded me. Math, sports, economics, science and literature were equally significant in my mind. Frankly, such acceptance of the world defines me and gives me an opportunity of reasonable judgment upon everything I confront.
