Dear Councillor,

I am writing a retort to the recent announcement about the construction of a factory in my neighborhood.While.majority of the residents argue that building a factory is outweighed by the risks I believe that a factory may have their benefits too.

Firstly,constructing a factory may increase the total income of our population as it can provide dwellers with more employment opportunities.For instance,those who have not enlightened themselves can carry out simple tasks such as relocating.Another point is that,building a factory can improve the living standards of the inhabitants since,constructing the factory will improve the local infrastructure.In addition to this,some facilities such as water and health facilities will be renovated.

Furthermore,there will be a vast enhancement in the public transportation as the workers in the factory has to come to work on a daily basis.As a result of these widespread changes the bread and butter of the residents will improve.

On the whole,as far as I am concerned, building a factory is outweighed by the assets.Moreover,if the factory can be managed successfully the factory and the local residents can have mutual benefits.
