Book Reports / Hamlet Theme Paper - appearance vs reality [6]
Can somebody write this for me? it does not need to be an A paper, hell it can be a C paper i just need it done before midnight and i can not even start on it.

Hamlet Project: Essay with Secondary Sources (50pts)
Directions:
Introduction
We have read Hamlet and discussed its merit as a tragedy in the context of Aristotle's Poetics, Seneca and Kyd's tragedy of revenge, and selected literary theories. We have done a close reading of selected passages with special attention to Act V. We have discussed the difficulty and numerous problems Act V presents to understanding Hamlet as a tragedy.
The Essay (Individual Work)
In an essay with at least 1 secondary source other than the primary text (approximately 3-4 pages in length, not including the works cited page), identity the theme of Hamlet: What is Hamlet as a genre? What is it really about? What about human identity or the nature of art is Hamlet a representation or discussion of? Such questions are not easy to answer. Impress me! If you refer to your class notes, my lectures, Aristotle's Poetics, and most of all, your ability to read closely with great care, you will be able to identity and support the theme of Hamlet.
Words of caution: Theme is the central and controlling idea of a literary work. The theme is represented by the actions, images, and the very structure and style of a literary work. Typically, the theme is an insight into the serious, tragic, or comic truth of the human condition. It is important to note that the theme is not synonymous with the subject or the conflict. The theme usually cannot be expressed in a single word. For example, in Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening, the subject is the beauty of winter and the conflict is whether to continue walking or remaining in the woods. You will note that neither the beauty of nature nor the question of resuming the trip is the really the theme of Frost's poem.
In order to uncover the theme of a literary work, please ask yourself the following fundamental questions:
1. What is the subject of the work?
2. How is author's attitude toward the subject expressed?
3. What is the central conflict?
4. How does the author address or resolve the conflict?
5. What central idea is represented in the subject, conflict, and the author's treatment of the form?
If you can answer the above questions with textual support and your rich background knowledge, you will have uncovered the theme!
As always substantiate your claims with textual support. Without textual support, I will not believe you. Cite your secondary sources using the correct MLA format. Submit final draft to Turnitin and submit hardcopy to me in class on the day the final draft is due. No lame excuses about the dog eating your paper or the modern equivalent, computer or printer error. Refer once again to the class policy.
