Undergraduate / 'established so long ago(1839)' The mouth watering prospect - why BU is a good fit for you [4]
Apart from the fact that BU is one of the best and most reputed universities in the United States, I see it as a prime target because of its magnificence and prowess across all departments. It boasts a rich heritage and has dug it's roots deep into the books of history and although it was established so long ago(1839), it has kept up with present times through its time tested and refined teaching methods and outstanding infrastructural facilities. The mouth watering prospect of being able to receive a exposure to such a wide array of activities as provided by BU is quite irresistible and with its quality sports complexes and endless list of clubs, it only fortifies it's credentials.
Having volunteered for community service, I seemed to have developed a keen interest for it over time, and in this respect BUs contribution caught my attention. The philanthropic university has donated over a million pounds of furniture to the IRN(Institution Recycling Network), whose mission is to find ways to reuse and recycle waste materials and also organizes the FFTP( Food For The Poor) program. To top it off, BU has it's very own Community Service centre, which is almost entirely student run and caters to a wide variety of needs.
Due to the above, I feel that BU provides the perfect platform for me to explore and expand my spheres of knowledge, making it the best fit for me.
