My name is Fares Sereir, and I am 17 years old. I am Dutch - Algeria origin, my mother being Dutch and my father being Algerian. I was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands on the 30th of December 1996. Over the years of my life I have travelled to various countries and experienced different cultures, all thanks to my father's company. I have travelled to many countries such as Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia; and over the past years of my life I have picked up a lot from these wonderful countries and their thriving and blossoming cultures and Economies. I have managed to speak 4 languages which are English, French, Dutch, Arabic (Algerian), and meet wonderful new people from different nationalities. Since I was a kid I have been going to British curriculum schools such as The British School of Amsterdam, The British school of Soto Grande, Calpe international school in Marbella, The British school of Algiers El Kalimat and also The International School of Amsterdam also known as ISM, and this has always helped me be an internationally diverse person in general and to look at the world from a different perspective.
I am also a professional football player for one of Algeria's best football teams CRB, in the category of U19. During the weekends I try to make time to go and join my uncle who is part of an association that helps the people in need such as the poor and elderly. I am a very patient person, a good listener and a hard worker. I am Dynamic and a "in the moment person" I like to stay focused on what is important and be ready for all kinds of challenges that await me in the future. I like to debate on different topics of interest to me, especially when it comes to defending my point of view.
Business as a whole has always caught my interest ever since I was a kid, thanks to my father. I always used to assist him in some of his business meetings where he discussed about real estate, importation, stocks and other issues of interest to him. Just being in the background and listening to the different points of views and ideas, has really made me understand Business a little better over the years and I am still learning; and that is where I think patience plays an important role. Once I reached my final year in high school I was very interested in Business, finance and economy and knew that I would like to continue my studies in one of these fields.
After my bachelor I wish to continue to a Masters degree, in which I could keep mastering my business skills. I hope one day to use these skills to run my own company, maybe with a business partner that I will meet at IE. I will do everything to succeed and make my company grow to its potential and achieve great things, and as I have always told myself, as long as there is the probability of success failure in unacceptable. This is what drives me.
I hope you enjoyed my CV, Thanks for your time.
