I am writing a 1500 word research paper on animal testing. I'm just having a lot of trouble coming up with a thesis statement. My research paper will be about why animals are being experimented on and what happens to the animals. And also why people are so against it.
This is what i have so far for my thesis.
Animal experimentation has been practiced for centuries to further our knowledge of the workings of the human body and to find cures for diseases. It is a popular method used by the cosmetic and medicine related industries. These procedures have a harmful effect on the animals and many Americans believe that hey should put a stop to animal testing.
I feel like it's too broad and it is an informative essay. Does it sound persuasive?
