Different colleges fit people's diverse needs and tastes. I am choosing University of North Carolina at Wilmington due to its highly ranked marine biology program and perfect location. Since my junior year in high school, I have been a volunteer at The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. This, along with living in Wilmington for most of my life, fostered my love for marine animals and everything related to the ocean. As a local, I grew up hearing "UNCW is the best school for marine biology." Furthering my passion by entering the marine biology program at UNCW is the best choice in this next step of my life.
