Romeo and Juliet were NOT in love but simply rebellious teens - Opening Statement

OK, so for school i have to write an essay and my essay topic is that Romeo and Juliet were NOT in love but simply rebellious teenagers.

I need a General Opening Statement...and i don't know what to write!!
please help me :)

I believe you should try and think of something for yourself. Just think about the situation, list all the pro's and con's, and then begin to formulate a thesis statement concerning your views on the matter. This is tough. Well, the opening statement should grab the reader's attention. The best thing to do is write a list of points you will make in the essay -- examples, quotes, and other evidence to support your argument. When you know just what you want to say, you can confidently write a good "hook" sentence to begin the essay.

Say something ambiguous and philosophical, like, "Sometimes the most passionate love is actually a very superficial kind. Real love is based on careful consideration and calm reflection."

"Love conquers all" - Essay for Romeo &Juliet about theme?

I have to write a essay on Romeo and Juliet. I had to come up with a theme for it and mine was " Love conquers all" I need a interduction paragraph but i don't know how to do it. My Three examples , One: Romeo's love for Juliet conquered his sadness towards Rosaline. Two: The two families were enemies but that didn't matter cause they loved each other. Three: Juliet did not obey her father when he told her to marry Paris , because she loved Romeo.

I'm not really too sure what you need, but your second example should definitely be the main theme.
