I have to write a 4-6 page essay about how Sophocles metaphorically uses vision
I always have a hard time with the thesis sometimes it's not vague enough to defend it for 4-6 pages sometimes too vague and it's all over the place.
Here's what I have right now:
Blindness exists in all people even if they possess the ability to see, however, some are able to see despite their lack of sight.
that sounds pretty off but that's the jist of what I'm trying to say. How can I change it up or what can I add/take out to make it a stronger and more viable thesis?
I was also planning to uses a quote from the Beatles song Strawberry Fields Forever, "Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see" as a hook for the introductory paragraph. What do you think?
