Thesis that unifies three points - Spanish essay

Hi there -

I am writing a mid-term in my Spanish culture class in the form of an essay. The three points that must be included (and that I have developed into paragraphs) are:

- the three rounds of bullfighting
- the ties to Stoicism, a prevalent philosophy throughout the history of Spain
- the moral vs. traditional debate. (i.e., whether it is ethically wrong to treat animals in such a way or if it has validity in preserving a culture)

I need a thesis that unifies these three points! So far I'm using (this is very weak):

Bullfighting is an important part of Spanish culture.

Any other suggestions?

I would suggest molding a thesis with the three points like so..."Bullfighting, although a prevalent tradition throughout the history of spain, causes a heated debate in regards to whether the ethical treatment of animals supersedes customs and practices" You would be able to go on and mention why what parts of bull fighting cause this debate. And you can use the backbone provided to steer you and use words like "stoicism and moral vs. traditional" in your thesis statement.
