Dear Admission committee,

"Learning gives creativity, Creativity leads to thinking,
Thinking provides knowledge, Knowledge makes you great." - Dr. A. P.J. Abdul Kalam.
Everyone have some boosting point or they need motivation from someone so that they can get driving force to understand and get focused about goal in life. This quote indeed rejuvenates my enthusiasm about life and inspired me to gain more knowledge. I remember, when I was in 08th grade, I won best science project award in intraschool exhibition and I made project of electricity transmission from generation to residential area and that is one of reason I chose engineering for my career. I was more fascinating towards science and practical applications. I am writing to express my genuine enthusiasm for Master's Program in Automation and control system at Newcastle university. I am eager to contribute to this field and expand my knowledge under the esteemed guidance of your institution, your world-class faculty can teach me how new innovations take place and contribute to my goal of becoming an able automation and control engineer.

I have completed my bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Mumbai university and secured 7.63/10 in 2018. My undergraduate program was an exceptionally enriched experience. I was exposed to various modules with applications like Control Systems, Power Electronic, Digital circuits, Power System, Electrical Machines, Electrical Networks etc. During the 06th semester of graduation, I got training opportunity at Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) as a graduation trainee. Additionally, my research publication in the International Journal of Creative Research Thoughts on the Analysis of DC-AC Cascaded H-Bridge multilevel boost inverter signifies my commitment to academical exploration and innovation.

After graduation in 2018, I got placed at OMCI RIG TECHANICAL & SS PVT. LTD. as a Jr. Project Engineer in Electrical and Automation. It has been a very productive and learning phase for me. My professional tenure has been marked by the successful execution of pivotal projects across global locations, contributing significantly to the advancement and optimization of sophisticated systems. Notably, I led the comprehensive upgrade project from GE 90-30 PLC System to GE RX3I System on a Jack Up Rig in Nigeria. Additionally, my roles across diverse regions like Thailand, Singapore, India, and the Republic of Congo, involved adept commissioning of various drive systems from industry leaders such as Siemens, ABB, and GE, refining my skills in system health checks, commissioning, and troubleshooting. My skill set encompasses an array of technical proficiencies, including Human-Machine Interface (HMI), VFDs, PLCs, MATLAB Simulink, AutoCAD, and programming languages like C and Python. My pursuit of continuous learning is evident through certifications from ABB ACS 800 LV Drives Training, Danfoss VFD, Rockwell Automation, MATLAB MATHWORKS.

The Master's program in Automation and Control Systems at Newcastle University resonates deeply with my career aspirations. The renowned faculty, comprehensive curriculum, and emphasis on practical applications align perfectly with my ambition to further specialize in this field. Newcastle university is an institution that fosters excellence in learning, research, scholarship and innovation, and that helps create global leaders in different field of endeavour. I am eager to immerse myself in the challenging coursework, engage in collaborative research, and leverage state-of-the-art resources offered by your esteemed institution.

My research interest is in the Industrial Automation, PLCs, Robotics and AC/DC Drives under expert guidance of Dr. Kristopher Smith and Dr. Shafiq Odhano for that particular modules. Newcastle university has extraordinarily good labs and research infrastructure. On the control system front, the research interests of the group include application of control theories such as Linear controller design, Distributed and Digital control systems etc. on the instrumentation front, the research interests of the group include smart and intelligent sensors, computer vision, and related application in various domains.

I remember, when I was in 08th grade,

Refrain from mentioning the 8th grade in this essay. You are applying for admission to a masters course. Therefore, your reference points should be more on the professional or college level. You come across as too amateur when you revert to 8th grade discussions.

future leader in Automation and control systems.

Can you be a bit more specific about this? You should present a short and long term purpose for your studies. The short term, would be about 6 months to 3 years after you graduate. The long term would be at least 5 years after completing the course. You have the perfect template SOP in this presentation. You just missed out on the long and short term career plans. Add that, change the 8th grade reference, and your essay should be good to go.
