The CS and GBDA programs both greatly appeal to me as I hope to display my technical creativity and problem-solving skills. My aspiration is to pursue web/software development or UI/UX design, where I can be a part of a large-scale design project; both fields will allow me to display my design and programming passions. With the CS program, I will achieve a solid understanding of designing functional programs and computational fine arts, allowing for more freedom towards web design opportunities. Involvement in the MathSoc and Hackathon communities provides mentorship and connections with my peers. The GBDA program combines a variety of definite fields that will strengthen my versatility such as digital media, project management, and programming. Considering all the immense co-op and internship opportunities and dynamic business/design systems, there is no doubt in my choice in Waterloo.
