The present bar graph illustrates the differences between women and men who passed their driving test in an Asian country in four years, which were 1980, 1990, 2000 and 2010. In general, it is clear that higher percentage of women who passed the test than men who did in all four years.
It is apparently seen that in 1980 and 1990, both men and women who passed the exam was fewer than the number in 2000 and 2010. There was around a half of female candidates could passed the driving test in 1980. In the next 10 years, the percentage of women was not witnessed a dramatical changes which was shown in the chart was slightly over 50 percent. However, the number of men who took and passed the test witnessed a significantly increased from 1980 to 1990. The figure of male candidates who passed the driving test considerably rose by approximately 10 percent from 1980 to 1990.
In addition, from 2000 to 2010, there was a moderate decrease from 68 percent to 65 percent in women who could passed the test. In contrast, the percentages in men chart remained the same at under a half in the same period as women.
