Dissertations / A research area in a PhD in Speech Writing [2]

I am contemplating doing a PhD in Applied Linguistics and my research area is in speech writing. I am thinking about researching on the linguistics features of inspiring speeches. or what linguistic features to make a speech inspiring.

is it a feasible research area? I badly need some advice on my research topic. Please help.
