Graduate / Do you consider yourself a person who would contribute to our schools diversity [3]
This is my answer,
Q:Do you consider yourself a person who would contribute to our schools diversity
Yes.
My parents are both from Iran and I'm very proud to be from such a rich culture. The Persian culture has played a huge role in my life; however, being Persian also comes with some stereotyping, especially after 9/11. Many students at my middle school classified all Middle-Easterners as the same. They would make irrational judgments about my heritage and name, and I never forget how it all made me feel. I've forgiven those people for what they did, and I am stronger because of all this. The importance of appreciating the beauty of each person and bringing people together was bestowed upon me early on in life. This taught me the kind of person I hope to be. Someone who will spend time on campus living an active lifestyle to get people involved in more than one organization and bridge the divide between cultures with love and words. As a group each of us could grow separately without ever growing apart.
any comments or help would truly be appreciated!
thanks!
