Letters / Reference Letter for myself after a summer internship in a law firm [4]
Hello! :)
I was wondering if someone could have a look at a reference letter I had to write for myself. I am a 2nd year law student and I spent the summer in Chicago doing an internship in a law firm. In my internship report, I have to insert a letter of recommendation that would also describe the different things i've been doing during my internship. I asked the principal attorney to write one for me but she told me to write it myself first, and that she will put it on letterhead. But recommending yourself is a tough task, and I'm not sure my grammar & vocabulary are correct.
Could someone give me some advices about the content and check the language? Thank you so much! :)

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to enthusiastically recommend [my first name + last name], who worked as a legal intern with me during the summer of 2011. I am the Principal Attorney at [name of the law firm], in Chicago, and serve as counsel to creative entrepreneurs and innovative business organizations. I help them choose the right business entity, drafts corporate bylaws and LLC operating agreements, negotiates contracts and software licenses, and provides comprehensive trademark and copyright counseling. I handle cases involving trademark and copyright infringement, computer fraud and abuse, trade secret misappropriation, online defamation, and commercial disputes. I am also a frequent lecturer, panelist, and instructor for organizations around the city and the country.
During her internship [my first name] worked largely under my supervision, and I therefore had ample opportunity to observe her skills, demeanor and work habits.
During her internship [my first name] was assigned to a variety of research and writing projects. For instance, she researched case law on issues involving social networking websites. She conducted extensive research of statutory law, and drafted corresponding memoranda on matters related to gaming law, business law, copyrights and trademarks so as to effectively answer client's questions. [my first name] helped draft interrogatories, request for production and request for admission in the discovery process of a civil lawsuit. She also served and filed court documents, and assisted with daily clerical duties.
[my first name] proved to be an effective, highly conscientious and enthusiastic intern. She had no difficulty in grasping relatively complex issues and her research was done thoroughly and efficiently. She was very capable at working independently, seeking direction at appropriate points in her work. Roxane showed great competency in English language and has excellent writing skills. I was particularly impressed by her ability to produce a well-written, well-structured and well-reasoned legal memoranda. She was extremely eager to learn all she could about each case on which we worked, and I found her to be a quick study. Her interest in and commitment to her work are noteworthy.
I recommend [my first name] highly. She is bright, hard working and a capable young woman with very good english and legal skills. On a personal level, I found her to be a pleasure to work with for the entire length of her internship because of her eagerness, her energy and her spirit. If I can provide any further information to you, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
[name of the principal attorney]
