How to write about - "Why do you think you are gifted in science and math?" [6]
If gift is a locked treasure, a gifted student is the one who have the key and try to find the way to open it. Therefore, I think I am gifted in science and math because I have both of them, which means I have both talent and effort.
To me, it is a valuable way to find out my hidden talent. The way started with passion. I loved logic and had potential about it. Logic is not used only in math but also in every subject and my own life. I have loved logic because it is always right and can not be ignored, so it makes me not have any suspicion at all. I was given many math books. The logical books attracted me and I began to focus on math. With my passion, I tried to solve problems and acquired results. To me, it is a period: passion - effort - findings - passion - effort -findings -..., which I've always tried to save. The period encourages me not to give up. For example, when I have a hard problem (and it was still suitable for what I have learnt), I analyze it and find how interesting it is. Then, I like and want to solve it. When I can solve, I feel happy and want to solve next problem.
I think that almost good students have their own strength and special experiences. To me, the most important and precious is determination. I think that determination comes from both ability and love, so at first I must study hard to broaden my knowledge and find passion. Determination is like a map for me to find the way and help me to have concentration and patience to reach to a point. But determination is not always in my mind, so every time I want to have it, I often set targets such as: 10 mark in test 45 minutes English, review chapter 1 in Biology,... I imagine how happily when I reach the target and how wasted when I let time leave without doing anything. Then it is my motivation and I determine on doing everything I want with high speed and affect. My experience - just one word: determination is not so difficult but really valuable for me.
