Hello there fellow forum users. I am about to embark on an essay title: Why has it proved so difficult to establish a consensus on the universality of human rights?

I had some ideas, namely the economic momentum of globalisation accentuating the gap between poor and wealthy populations. The WTO with its restriction on Human Right aid?
