Writing Feedback / TOEFL: University student should not be required to attend classes. [3]
University student should not be required to attend classes. Instead, they should be able to receive credits through a final test or paper.
There are many students who never attend classes except for the final test time. They are more numerous than you think. Is is wrong!
Students need to attend classes to get their legal credits.
Allowing students to get their credits without attending classes denies the fundamental purpose of the existance of University. They need to learn something from the classes since an University is a school which is for education, not getting jobs. This attitude would humiliate the professors and Universities' honor and also make Universities useless places.
Giving the same opportunities of getting credits through tests to both diligent, regularly attending students and not attending students is not fiar at all. Not attending students could get the same credits by just borrowing diligent students' notebooks. A true education should not attach great importances to only the results. They should value the processes: attitudes, too.
Universities should not allow students to get credits without attending classes. It is completely against the purpose of Universities and unfair to diligent students who attend classes regularly.
