Undergraduate / Honored on becoming a BU Terrier - BU supplement [2]
As I stepped off the green line and onto BU's campus, I could instantly see myself attending this school for the next four years. The atmosphere and energy of this magnificent city filled up the void that I had been feeling since the moment I moved to the suburbs. As I looked around at the students on my way to register for the college visit, I could see that everyone looked happy to be there. The students also seemed extremely friendly, as they were eager to help me find my way. That same day, as I learned more about the university, I realized that although I was instantly attracted by the campus, the student body, and the location, the education ultimately had the greatest influence on me. During my college visit, the professors and staff at BU did a great job in easing some of the anxiety I was feeling about the entire college process. My biggest concern thus far has been trying to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life; BU assured me that it was okay to be undecided! As a person who has a passion for becoming more involved in the world and my community, I also feel that I will take advantage of the many opportunities offered at BU; these include unique study abroad programs and the hundreds of clubs and organizations. I believe that i can get everything out of my higher education by attending this university and I would be more than honored on becoming a BU Terrier.
