Undergraduate / UC Prompt #1 - Aspiration to be an OBGYN [3]
Describe the world you come from (for example, your family, community, or school) - How has your world shaped your dreams and aspirations?
Born into a family of five with two parents married for twenty years and two siblings that I grew up with, I was blessed to have a family that's so close with one another. One particular thing we love to do as a family is after eating dinner together at the dining table, is that we remain seated in our seats and just talk about anything for an hour or so. We don't get up, wash the dishes, and go back to our own business. Instead, we talk with one another, happy in each other's company.
My family and I can talk about anything. One particular thing that we love to talk about is how my siblings and I were born and how pregnancy was for my mom. My parents would tell us that pregnancy was a long process of nine months and it's extremely excruciating to give birth but in the end, it's worth all the pain and waiting to have a baby in your arms. Kids and babies is actually my favorite topic to bring up with my family because we all adore kids especially since my mom baby-sit babies and kids as a job. I would actually be her assistant in helping with the babies and kids. I would assist in changing the diapers, feeding the baby, putting the baby to sleep, and making them laugh.
*I'm not done yet, but I was wondering if this is a good start for the essay?
