Undergraduate / 'Love of puzzles' - University of Chicago- Favorites Essay [3]
Hi,
Could someone please read my essay and let me know if i am on the right track.
Share with us a few of your favorite books, poems, authors, films, plays, pieces of music, musicians, performers, paintings, artists, blogs, magazines, or newspapers. Feel free to touch on one, some, or all of the categories listed, or add a category of your own.
My love of puzzles and thought provoking plots comes out in the type of shows and books I enjoy reading, be it in White Collar, Suits or in any of the Dan Brown books. In my favorite TV show, 'White Collar', the main characters, con man Neal and FBI agent Peter, solve crimes bringing a unique intuition and insight to the workplace. This is something I try to do in my life by thinking outside of the box. In another one of my favorite shows, the law drama, 'Suits', Harvey uses his unconventional thinking abilities to win cases. I hope to be patent lawyer someday, and I would like to embody the same critical thinking skills that Harvey is able to bring when solving his cases. One of the reasons I absolutely love Dan Brown's books is because of the complex and intriguing plots. Through Dan Brown's vivid visuals in books like 'Angels & Demons' or 'Deception Point', I often find myself trying to decipher the mysteries along with the main character.
