hey :) i'm new to essay forum and i am wondering if someone could possibly give me some ideas to how to answer an essay question.

The essay question is on the book a thousand splendid sun's. i have read the book and researched the topic but i am still struggling.

right the question is "choose a novel which is set during a period of social or political change, discuss how important the writer evocation of the period is to your appreciation of the text as a whole."

I also have to use appropriate techniques to answer my essay question. such as theme, central concerns, narrative technique, characterization and setting.

please could you help as soon as possible as my essay is due in soon. thanks :)
