Undergraduate / Give&take/Pay it/ Creative/ Inspirational/ Listen/Acceptance; Lilly's Top Ten List [4]

What is your top ten list? Elaborate on #4. This section is to give you the opportunity to distinguish yourself fro other applicants, allowing us to get to know you better. please be creative and enjoy this exercise.

Top Ten Ways to Change The World

Here are the top ten ways I believe we can embark on the grand adventure into changing the world.

10. It's better to give than receive.
Donating your time, energy, blood, hair, money etc. to a good cause. Become a regular volunteer and give. Helping others allows you to capture the great feeling of putting others first. We are a society and we all inhabit one planet, earth. We will fall as a whole, but we will rise as a whole.

8. Pay it Forward
Return the favor or start the movement of kindness. Based off the movie "Pay it Forward," a young boy starts the movement that is soon reached worldwide and it all started with one act of kindness.

9. Create Art.
Through paintings, drawings, photographs, and sculptures our society has taken up art as method of communication towards their peers. Art itself motivates and inspires the human race to grasp the concept of humanity and alter the negative in society into a euphoria filled with endless possibilities of happiness.

7. Be Inspirational.
Change the world by stimulating your peers to defeat the status quo. Embark in new challenges and do things people never even thought of. Never allow someone else's pessimistic attitude thwart your ambitions.

6. Listen.
Hear out your neighbor let them tell you about themselves. Know about their interests and carry this behavior throughout your life and care to listen to each and every person that meets your eyes.

5. Acceptance.
While each of us inhabits this planet we deliver a dose of uniqueness into our world. Being able to accept each other's differences and embrace them is a step closer into cultivating and embedding ourselves with one another.

4. Peace, Love and not War.
This clichĂŠ is seen throughout the world. We find ourselves grinning when we find the quote on t-shirt, a coffee mug, or a poster, but the quote itself serves as a common belief to anyone who has ever been touched by war and corruption. While our troops fight for many different reasons have you ever wondered what would happen if there were nothing worth fighting for or worth killing for, where would the concept of war lie? We will no longer take innocent lives and we would be abiding by one of our ten commandments "thou shalt not kill." Global giving and peace is a concept we should be promoting.

3. Share and stimulate your interests
Voice who you are and what characteristics create you. Talents and skills are uniquely divine share yours and encourage others to do the same.
2. Do Something!
If your intentions are good and are to better society, never give up. Keep your goal alive. What are some things you would like to change about the community you inhabit?

1. Vote.
Changing the world you live in begins with vote. Vote for a candidate that stresses your needs not one filled with empty promises. Changing the world begins with those who represent you.

Undergraduate / Things Don't Follow A Plan! Transfer Reasons & Objectives [5]

You have an overall compelling story on how you went back to community college and why. Why don't you expand more on that, and I personally would recommend you say "binge drinking..." simply because you don't want to paint the wrong picture of you. Expand on the academics you wish to gain from a traditional university? & also tell how you are now ready to face your fears and what you will do differently in the sense that large number won't scare you, you identity is still intact.

Good essay though! is the process of applying as a transfer harder than freshman? (curious to know)

thank you,

Undergraduate / Picture Books/ Explore Beijing/ Friends/ Action; Tufts App/ Who am I? [5]

There is randomness to your story, you are unique. something depicts you from the crowd, dig deeper, tell a compelling story, I know you can, you are risky. take the risk to write the unthinkable, because we all know you can! Who is "XX" and what makes him unique, because unfortunately they can't see you, but only read about you make it worth their while.

Good Luck!
