The chart below shows the different types of goods and services purchased online in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom in one year. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant
The bar chart illustrates the variable types of items bought online by Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom in a year. It can be seen that UK people spend a great deal on online purchases.
One of the first thing to note is that toys, food and drink and financial services are required with the smallest amount on the Internet. For example, less than 30% of consumers getting these items compared with approximately 40% of buyers getting the others. Another thing to point out is that most of customers spend their money on music, computer equipment and books. More specifically, above 30% of shoppers pay for these goods and services in 3 countries. In addition, it should be noted that, there is a large proportion of purchasers in the United Kingdom, which is greater than 60% buying music and books on screen. Moreover, in Australia and Canada, the ratios of people make book purchases by computer are the same percentage, which is 45%
