Undergraduate / I counted the number of "VT" flags ; TOP 5 REASON I WANT TO GO TO VIRGINIA TECH [3]
Ever since I remember walking the streets of my neighborhood, I counted the number of "VT" flags I saw flying through yards, and I knew Virginia Tech was where I wanted to attend university. So first of all, I would like to attend Virginia Tech because of the great unity and pride that Hokies have. Secondly, because of their outstanding football team. I am a big fan of my high school football team, so being a Hokie is the stands of Lane Stadium would be a huge privilege to me. Third, I would love to live in the area of Blacksburg while attending Virginia Tech. Growing up, most of my summer vacations consisted of camping trips to the mountains. I have grow to appreciate the beauty the mountains have to offer and living in Blacksburg would be the perfect setting for my college experience. Fourth, the amount of clubs and intramural sports offered will help me become socially involved with my fellow Hokies, while staying in good physical condition. Finally, I want to attend Virginia Tech because of the wide array of majors offered. Since I will be going into my freshmen year with an undeclared major, the fact that Virginia Tech offers so many majors makes me confident that I will be able to find a major that will help me achieve my educational, and eventually, career goals. Overall, I just I'm just a Hokie at heart.
