It happened to be in Dera Ismail Khan Pakistan mosques, religious place of Muslims were attacked by suicide bombers in 2003. And the reason these mosques and worship place were attacked is because the people praying inside were from a particular sect of Islam who fundamentalists don't believe are fully Muslim. And not only did those suicide bombers take a hundred lives, but they did more, because they created more hatred, more rage, more fear and certainly despair. Majority people started permanent migration due to the fear of such target killing by the militant/terrorists. Many families were migrating to nearby districts especially district Bhakkar. That time the business of land and house developers was in its boom.

For 3 years, I started a my partnership assignment with my cousin who has a house developer firm named Business Park. And I had a dream that we would work to build a housing community which promote religious harmony and practiced their religious, social events collectively . It was a difficult task to accomplish, but our determination and struggle made it possible. The bribe culture badly penetrates in our society and government departments usually reluctant to do work without a bribe. We stood on moral ground and refused to pay bribes. It took almost two years just to register the land. But people saw how the level of moral standard can rise from just two person's action.

Today, about 5,00 people live in 100 houses in this beautiful housing community. And there's school, clinic and shops. But there's only one mosque. It is worth noting that there is really a diverse community. It was hard who will use the mosque, but ultimately community elders came together, realizing we only have each other. And we decided that we would elect the two most respected imams, and those imams would take turns, they would rotate on a monthly basis. Now, the whole community, all the different sects, including Shi'a and Sunni, would sit together and pray. This housing society is a great icon of religious harmony in the Pakistani culture.
