Letters / The internship in the Human Resources section opens wide opportunities for me [3]
The internship in the Human Resources section opens wide opportunities for me to develop
communication, leadership and administrative skills. Working in the foreign affairs arena will
result in a priceless experience for me, especially in the U.S. affairs. In the period of
globalization the human resources management is a strategic way to manage people, workplace
environment, and culture. After finishing the internship I will be able to develop constructive and
cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
Ability to keep informational confidential is an important personal characteristic "trust is
paramount to the success succeed of in any business"(Microsoft CCR, 2014, p.7) shows the role of
commitments to ethical business practices and strong corporate governance policies related with
the privacy and reputation. The planning, organizing, and controlling are the tasks that face
human resources department.
Coordination, cooperation, and attention to details are the skills that I want to develop in U.S.
embassy during an internship. These skills are both a responsibility and opportunity to create
business value in the work environment. Being a leader is to influencing others to attain goals.
The leader characteristics help in directing, motivating people to overcome obstacles and move
organization toward its ideal future. And as a leader the abilities that I want to develop are
leadership motivation, integrity, and self-confidence. Of course, the motivation is one of the
important leader characteristics. Holding position of manager means that the person need to
motivate employees to join and remain in the organization and to show high job performances.
I will be very pleased to get this position and meet its requirements. For me to work in the field
of human resources management is a way to build strong communicative and cooperative skills
in order to succeed in my future career path. And I think this will be a really great experience for
me to learn how to behave in a world of diversity.
