Writing Feedback / The power of personal characteristics and its influence on our development [NEW]
Hi dear friends,
Here is my writing task 2.
Thanks for your comments and instructions.
:)
Topic: Research indicates that the characteristics we are born with have much more influence on our personality and development than any experiences we may have in our life.
Which do you consider to be the major influence?
This might be the question everyone would ask himself at least once in his lifetime: "Could all my achievements be considered as the result of my built-in characteristics or me, myself, have learnt from the experiences and chosen my way?"
Obviously there is an assortment of traits that the human's child is born with; some personal factors that could act as a guiding light when reacting to the different situations that he or she might deal with. Therefore our characteristics are the main sources of our unconscious behavior in childhood. On the other hand is the environment in which we are growing up, that is significantly influenced by our parents' attitude to the life. They can treat the child leading him to strengthen his positive characteristics and weaken the negative ones or vice versa. Therefore the main structure of our personality, based on which most of our decisions would be made in future, is constructed before adulthood during a subliminal process.
Furthermore, one essential factor of the human's maturity is learning from the experiences. Most of us would happen to deal with some people who was not so talented but succeeded due to hard working and learning from his failures. While the degree to which people take their experiments into account could differ from one to another.
From my point of view, the power of personal characteristics could not be disregarded, knowing the fact that even the extent to which we learn from the experiences depends on our personal factors and the way we think. I believe that most of our developments or failures are the results of personal traits led us to whether learn from our past experiments or not.
