Research Papers / Research Brief - fear in a community and election [2]

Hi

I'm looking to write a research brief on the topic of the "degree of fear in a community such as terrorism and the impact this has on voting intentions at an election."

In this research brief i need to address "info needs and sources"
research design
and data collection methods.

in light of the above question - what type of info would be relevant and what infomation sources primary and/or secondary would assist in answering the above question and where would i find and access this info.

once i've collated all this info how would i write my research brief.

I've never done this before i'm a mature student returning to night school so all this is pretty new. any help would be much appreciated!
