I am writing a research essay on Oedipus and I am having a difficult time with my thesis. I read the play, I also watched a full movie on it. So far, I take it that the author is using Oedipus as an example of how one can damage his/her life living without knowledge of self. Revealing key issues: Truth, pride and humility to convey such message.
