Undergraduate / Notre Dame Supplement Essay--Make a difference [3]

Hey guys...very first time putting my own essay on EF...Just go ahead, read it through and make comments and revisions!!! All welcomed! Thanks in advance...

I know this one is not so good...but i could not find a way to make it better.Who can help me out? And, the minimum requirement is 250 words, do you guys feel that i should make it longer, or it is good enough?

Please write a response (250 words minimum) to one of the following topics.
- 1. The Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., President of the University of Notre Dame, said in his Inaugural Address that, "If we are afraid to be different from the world, how can we make a difference in the world?" In what way do you feel you are different from your peers, and how will this shape your contribution to the Notre Dame community?

There really should be a patent protection law in the field of creativity...Unfortunately, there was no such law. In the flat world where literally no secrets can be kept, how do people remain their uniqueness when others can easily intimate?

"Son, being different isn't a result. It is a process. As long as you are still going on, you are different from the others."

A process, I thought. Is it staying up late at night, facing an already solved math questions, and figure out a new way to solve? Is it rushing into the bookstore, carried back numbers of books on politics, economics, modern psychology, and then created the Learning-through-Simulation IMUNC Future Leader Platform after I have already got every award a man can get in Model UN? Then I realized that I am unique, not for what I have done, but the way I did it: learning cross disciplines, thinking beyond boundaries, and sharing without reservation...and most importantly, my instinctive hunger towards perfection. I know there will always people who picked up where I had left; but I can always remain a little bit forward.

As all knowledge is going to somehow be applied in real world situation, it is impossible to truly predict the future development due to the complexity of real-world situation. Keeping in mind that making a difference is a process is so important in a university circumstances, especially somewhere like Notre Dame: it is the only way to further academic research and innovate new ideas. Further, my persuasion towards perfection develops into a new stage when I realize more about the world, and I am willing to devote this perfectionism into real actions in Notre Dame: environment protection, community service, educational programs...
