Dear Sir / Madam:
My name is Name and surname. I have worked at .................................. for 2 years. In addition, I have been responsible for the 4th and 6th medical students who practice in the Obstetrics-Gynecology Department at the .............. Hospital since 2015.
I am very keen to apply for the ....................... offered by the University of..................... since it relates directly to my current career and I am very interested in this field because I want to help children and mothers who have diseases and learn about it comprehensively. Moreover, as (country) is a developing country where every sector need improvement especially in the training of experts in most specializations. Children and mothers still experience exceptional mortality rates in ( country) so it is the most important for the health sciences field to receive better human resource development. Furthermore, I would like to gain new experiences with experts in this field and develop an appreciation of modern learning system. I can share my knowledge with international students. In return, I would like to expand my languages proficiency and learn about different cultures whilst learn how to live in a big, modern city on my own. I have learned about the University of ...................... from information found on its website. I have also got more information about the city from useful links provide on the site.
I certainly believe that I am eligible for this scholarship because I am enthusiastic about child and maternal health. I don't think I will have any major problems when I go to exchange knowledge there because I am reliable, eager, pro-active, flexible, and a fast learner. I am physically healthy, and I am familiar with getting used to a new environment having undertaken a short exchange in Greece several years ago. In addition, I have a sufficient knowledge of French and English so I can communicate with people adequately. If this scholarship is granted to me, I will concentrate my attention solely this exchange program to acquire new experience and develop my knowledge of medical sciences, especially in children and mothers' care. By upgrading and modernizing my current skills with advanced techniques and practices I will significantly boost my own professional career as well as enhance the abilities and broaden the knowledge base of my peers.
