I hope to receive your comment on this
About the requirements of the motivation letter: minimum 1 page long and a Times New Romans 12-point letters
Dear Admission Committee,
I am writing to express my strong interest in the Master's program in Autonomous Vehicle Control Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. My passion for this field was sparked when I watched Formula 1 in 2020. I was curious to understand how control systems ensure that every milisecond counts. Therefore, this led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Control Engineering and Automation at one the most prestigious technical universities in my country, where I graduated with a CPGA 3.59.
During that time, my main research focus was on the study of consensus behavior in multi-agent systems, which involves a group of autonomous agents, such as robots or sensors, starting with different initial values and converging to a common value. My final thesis was a study of double-integrator systems without velocity measurements, aiming to achieve consensus using fewer sensors without compromising efficiency, which aligns well with the world's sustainable goals of green innovations. Through the Master's program at BME, known for its strong research in control systems and autonomous vehicle technologies, I anticipate gaining advanced knowledge and skills in controlling autonomous vehicles. The hands-on experience and research opportunities at BME will provide me with a comprehensive understanding of the field, preparing me for the challenges and innovations required in the modern vehicles field.
Upon my return to my home country, I aim to become an expert in controlling smart vehicles. By the end of 2026, some big cities in Vietnam will ban fossil fuel cars, and it is expected that the need for electric and smart vehicles will rise. This represents both an opportunity and a challenge for me as an individual who wished to contribute to the autonomous vehicle specialization. My plan is to collaborate with key autonomous vehicles organizations, applying the advanced skills and insight gained to address the rapidly growing demand for electric and intelligent transportation systems. Therefore, the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship will be a perfect support for me to achieve this dream. The trusted friendship and close ties between Vietnam and Hungary have been built over more than 75 years of diplomatic cooperation, creating a meaningful context for my academic goals. By pursuing my master's degree in Hungary, I hope to bring back advanced expertise that strengthen academic and technological cooperation between the two countries.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
