Book Reports / What ideas are developed in To Kill a Mockingbird about the significance of individuals perspective [2]
I couldn't fit the whole title in.
I am having trouble coming up with ideas to support my point and was also just looking for feedback in general. This is a 5 paragraph essay. This is what I have so far:
A person's perspective dictates almost every interaction that they have. It determines their thoughts and actions, and how they choose to express themselves. An individual's perspective is the lens through which they see the world through. A perspective is shaped by an individual's religion, family, friends, and so on. The novel To Kill a Mockingbird revolves around this idea of perspective and it's significance in our lives. Harper Lee develops the the idea that as an individual gains perspective, they will also develop empathy for others. She presents this idea through the character of Jean Louise (Scout) Finch. This concept is portrayed multiple times in the story, and is a recurring theme.
This is just my introductory paragraph, and my teacher has told me that it was too short as well. Thank you.
