Writing Feedback / The data on the occupation of graduated and post-graduate students after finishing college in the UK [3]

The charts below show what UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work did after leaving college in 2008.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The provided bar graph demonstrates the data on the occupation of graduated and post-graduate students who didn't work full-time after finishing college in the UK in 2008.

Overall, it is clear that a minority of UK graduates and postgraduates decided to go on further study. Additionally, the number of graduates seen in the chart was far more than the figure for postgraduates.

The number of graduates who chose to pursue their higher education topped the table at 29 665 students, while the opposite was true for the figure for volunteer work, with only 3500 graduates participating. Graduated students taking temporary jobs got the number of 17 735, compared to 16 235 graduates being unemployed.

Similarly, the data on students taking part in the further study took the lead with 2725 people, contrary to the information on volunteer work, which only obtained 345 postgraduates. Furthermore, 2345 post-graduate students chose part-time jobs, which was much higher than the number of unemployed, 1625 people.
