Writing Feedback / Global warming - an environmental problem or event [2]
I would like to present to you about Global warming. This is one of the most serious issues that the world is facing today. Global warming refers to the gradual increase in Earth's average temperature due to the accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This phenomenon is primarily driven by human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial processes, which release carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
The consequences of global warming are profound and wide-ranging.It leads to the melting of polar ice caps and glaciers, resulting in rising sea levels and coastal flooding. Moreover, changes in temperature and weather patterns disrupt ecosystems, endangering plant and animal species. Extreme weather events such as hurricanes, droughts, and heatwaves become more frequent and severe, posing threats to human lives, agriculture, and infrastructure.
To address global warming, concerted efforts are required at both individual and collective levels. We need to transition to renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. Additionally, efforts to recyling trash, using public transport are essential to protect environment.
Finally, by taking proactive steps to reduce emissions and protect the environment, we can worktogether for solving this problem.
