Write about the following topic:
Some university students want to learn about other subjects in addition to their main subjects. Others believe it is more important to give all their time and attention to studying for a qualification.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Some pupils want to study other subjects in addition to their main institutional subjects while others believe that putting efforts on studying to get qualified is more important. This essay agrees that learners should also focus on the subjects other than their main institutional subjects.

Some group of pupils wants to learn about the other majors in addition to their institutional majors. They believe that if they also prefer learning about the other majors, it will be of their benefit which helps them in their personal and professional lives. I agree that the pupils should also consider learning about extra majors to develop some necessary skills that are being used in the life. For example, doing extra courses such as Communication Skills and Photography, which are not usually taught helps them having good photography skills in their personal lives and good communication skills in their professional lives.

Other group of pupils say that they should focus solely on studying institutional majors in order to get the degree and to get qualified. They believe that qualification is the most important thing for them in order to land a good job. But the truth is that, qualification is just one part of evaluation for the recruiters. They also demand from people the other skills such as communication, problem solving and analytical skills and so I disagree with this group of pupils. For instance, in the modern times, people with higher degrees still struggling landing a job and even those having just undergraduate degrees are working in top industries just because they have extra skills.

In conclusion, while doing extra courses and learning extra skills are beneficial, some still believe that they should focus on passing the degree to get qualified. However, if we focus on courses in addition to the institutional courses, the benefits are clearly positive.

Write about the following topic: Many major cities are facing a housing crisis as they cannot provide enough land for new buildings. Some local governments believe the problem could be solved by reassigning park land for residential development, because this land would be better used for housing.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

The local authorities believe that the issue of housing crises in numerous major cities can be solved by allocating the land of park for the development of residential homes. This essay disagrees that the land for parks can be used for housing constructions. Firstly, the parks are allowing children and adults to get access to sports. Secondly, there would be no place for the families and friends to attend the events.

Parks are the great places for people for playing sports. There are numerous sports facilities such as the jogging area, the courts for various sports where children and adults come and play. Playing is a great extra-curricular activity for youth which allows them to keep active and nourishes their brains and parks are the places that provide them such facilities. For example, in the morning time, numerous people can be seen jogging and exercising while in the evening time, we can see a lot of people playing sports.

Parks are the peaceful locations where a group of families and friends can come and spend quality time together. People come in normal days or on special occasions, enjoy the time together, do gossips while sitting in the natural grass or on benches. It is a good place for organizing the events and occasions. For instance, concerts and Galas usually take place in big and open parks and numerous people come to attend them.

In conclusion, the land of parks should not be used for the housing projects as they can be used for various crucial facilities such as sports and playing areas and the fact that organizing the events require some kind of open field and areas and the parks are good choice for that.
