Writing Feedback / IELTS WRITING TASK 1: REDEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR A UNIVERSITY SPORTS CENTRE [2]
The two diagrams provided illustrate the proposed enhancements for a university's sports facility.
Overall, it is evident that the centre will undergo significant expansion and enlargement, with the most prominent alteration being the addition of numerous facilities and the dismantlement of the outdoor courts.
To begin with, the largest transformation is that all amenities will be transferred indoors, therefore expanding the area of the centre. To the south side of the building, two new changing rooms will be constructed in the southeast and southwest corners. A new café and sports shop will be introduced near the newly constructed changing facilities. Two dance studios will be incorporated into the centre's far east end. Along the building's eastern axis, to the right of the seating area, a sports hall will be annexed. At the venue's western quadrant, a recreational aquatic facility will be appended.
Regarding internal modifications, the 25m natatorium area will remain the same, except that the fitness facility to the north of the venue will be extended to accommodate the new structure. The reception area is not expected to undergo any further improvements.
In conclusion, the diagrams indicate that the university sports facility will experience various major developments, most likely to support a higher volume of university students.
