Scholarship / Health applications - Erasmus Mundus Master in Medical Technology and Healthcare Business [NEW]
I am applying for the EMMaH program, currently doing the motivation section but there is no minimum or maximum words for each questions, so im not sure if it's too short or too long, but here is my current draft. Feedback is very much appreciated!
Why have you chosen this programme in medical technology and healthcare business?
I chose this programme because it fits both my academic background and the direction I want to take in my career. I studied biomedical engineering, and during my undergraduate studies I worked on projects such as mobile health applications, hospital equipment support, and public health data systems. From these experiences, I realized that creating a technology is not enough to make a real impact in healthcare.
In many hospitals and healthcare settings, good technologies are not used properly because of issues related to cost, regulation, workflow, or management decisions. I became interested in understanding why this happens and how technology can be better integrated into real healthcare systems.
This programme is important to me because it combines medical technology with healthcare business and management. Through this combination, I want to learn not only how technologies are developed, but also how they are evaluated, implemented, and maintained in real clinical and healthcare environments.
