Taking vacation is one of the most important needs of each student. Taking one long vacation each year has more benefits for the student rather than tanking several short vacations throughout the year.

Students can take advantage from the free time given.

First of all, long vacation allows students to relax more. They can go on long vacation or trip with their families or their friends, especially in summer. They can enjoy their vacation without thinking about the time. Which it is not the case in a short vacation when students worry about they will miss a lot of pleasant things because they do not have much time.

Secondly, one long vacation offers the students to find job, so they can improve their skills in the work world, and being more responsible and more conscientious of other things in life. There are not many employers who accept to hire people for a short time. And even so , students can not learn much thing as they do in a long period of working.

Another reason that makes a long vacation more advantageous than several short vacations is that students focus better in consecutive term of studies. They are not interrupted by taking some days off several times so they focus in depth on their studies.

Some people think that when students take a long vacation, they have a lot of waste time, so it is better for them to take short several vacations. I think that even on short several vacation, students can waste their times, watching television or sleeping all the day because they do not have much time to do some important things such as working . Students also can learn a new language, or reading books.

Short or long vacation, does not matter. The importance is to take advantage from the free time.
